Weddings
The sound of bagpipes at your wedding will add atmosphere to the occasion and make the day memorable for all. There may be a number of times throughout your wedding when you would like me to play. For example:
- Arrival of Guests
- Piping the Bride Down the Aisle
- Signing of the Marriage Register
- Piping the Bride and Groom Out
Of course, everyone's wedding is special and you might like something distinctive and individual. Please do not hesitate to contact me with your suggestions.
Ceremony and/or reception : $300 Flat Rate
Funnerals
At the church, or at the Graveside, the soulful music of the pipes is a fitting honor to your loved one. Pick the music or let me select the appropriate sounds for the amount of time that you want filled. This is a very special way to show your respect and love.
The most common time to play is as the casket is being moved to or from the hearse or to the gravesite, but I’ve often been asked to play a favorite tune during a service and I have a smaller set of pipes that I can play as background music for Irish wakes or other indoor events.
I also have a policy of playing at no charge for any police, firefighter or military personnel lost in the line of duty.
